Financial Blog to Help Manage Family Finances

The impetus for starting a family finance blog came from reading too many personal finance blogs and feeling frustrated that no information was provided specifically for my family situation. I started gathering what I believe to be a common theme among family finance bloggers and that is that the three biggest challenges they face are achieving sustainable budgeting, creating a consistent savings plan, and overcoming debt and credit challenges. After reading these blogs and reflecting on my own experience. 

I realized that my family and I were unique in that we had two working parents who had significant incomes and many assets. Because we have multiple sources of income and no dependents, we have the luxury of being able to save more aggressively and pay off debt faster.

Running a family finance blog is tough and requires a lot of self-discipline. I had to develop strict daily blogging goals and set strict editorial standards to provide the best information and advice. I also have to be very vigilant in monitoring the performance of my blog and making necessary changes as necessary to maintain reader engagement. Since so much of my personal time is spent on the blog, it is important for me to create a strong social media presence to strengthen the reach of my blog and connect with more readers.

Growing my family finances through blogging has been rewarding and I believe that I have been able to make a significant impact in the lives of my readers. Through blogging, I have been able to empower my readers to take control of their finances and improve their overall financial situation. My hope is that my blog will help more families achieve financial stability and peace of mind.
